It feels good to get this out. Been a long time since I've dared revisit this, and I think a part of me was terrified it was gone. But I can't seem to connect to other people and connect with myself at the same time. And changing mindsets can be... intimidating, I guess.Anyway, sorry for the incoherent rambling. This was liberating. This is also the closest I've come to capturing Aroa, in some aspects at least.
Bah with the goddamn plethora of portraits in my gallery. Way to expand my artistic horizons. X(

I love the detail you put into the coloring of this picture. The hair, his eyes, the injuries... the whole picture is visually stunning, but those are the parts that stand out the most to me. It's almost too dark in some places, but you managed to balance it out quite nicely.

I think you did an excellent job on this! All the different textures work really well together. The way you created the burns is very convincing, and I like that the background looks like a combination of his scars and kind of a gold-leaf effect. Nice work : D
