I am not sure but I think that is Stan and the actress who played his wife in "Sons of the Desert".Β It is a studio still, not a production still, but it hints at the resolution of the movie.

Yes, that's Dorothy Christy who played Mrs. Laurel in "Sons of the Desert" 1934. (a role originally conceived for Patsy Kelly). She was one of the more genial of the Laurel & Hardy wives and can be seen in many 1930's B-features in supporting roles. She had a supporting role in Buster Keaton's "Bedroom, Parlor, & Bath" (1931). I also think she was in one of the early Flash Gordon serials with Buster Crabbe-- or was it Buck Rogers?
