here is a total compilation of all the photos i have of the overall process i used to make the keyblade, u'll notice i changed ideas several times but the end result works for me and is ideal for cosplay. also featured in this is my sleeveless organization hoodie i 'made' featured here:[link]
so yeah just the WIP pics and some fun lighting stuff to showcase the blade, but the pic is actually for a piece im posting after this which is a background for my fanfic.

I know this is a bit old, but can I ask about your painting process, I really love how it looks and am working on one of these as a gift for friend, and I was hoping to get my paint looking close to what yours does. As in actually looking metal.

Sand wood. Coat w pva glue and water 50/50 mix. Prime and spray paint 24 hours later. If u rush it u lose all hope. Should take 3 days to paint
