This is such a great shot! I've never seen one like this. The fisheye adds a very unique perspective to it.

Okay! So I've to save some money to buy a fisheye lens... want to take such great photos too

AJPastor In reply to TiKy2010 [2011-02-04 03:08:27 +0000 UTC]

Thanks. Yeah, it's great. I haven't gotten bored of it yet. Got mine a year ago! ^^
Also find it convenient when you're with friends and want to take a picture of the whole group without having to ask someone to take the picture for you. All you do is shoot from where you're standing and everyone, including yourself, are instantly in the picture. ^^

yes, this is a big advantage!
such a fisheye lens is really expensive and I think this kind of lens is hard to handle correctly.

Yeah, true. Before I got my fisheye I kept looking at endless fisheye pictures on Flickr to give me ideas of what's possible with fisheye.
I'd say the down side of the lens is that you can't but a UV protection filter on it to help protect against scratches on the lens. Careful cleaning is needed. Must handle with care and love. lol.

Wow, this looks incredible. I would've thought you would have to lay on your back to get this shot.

Lol, ya. I pretty much had to do a little more than that, which was put it on a short tripod and have it look up while I used a remote to take the picture (to stay out of the shot). Glad you like! ^^

Ya! I love bringing my fisheye to the city. It gives everything a new perspective!

Haha it does! One of my friends on Facebook recently got a fish eye lens and has been posting a ton of cool pictures she took with it, and I've seen a couple of really cool ones on here too, and I want one so bad now lol.

I felt the same way when I kept seeing the different kinds of pictures you can take with fisheye. First time using it was sooo trippy. I take the lens almost everywhere whenever I'm out with my camera. Lots of experimenting to be done.

Yeah. Maybe someday you'll get one! I got mine just last year.

Some other fisheye pictures from my gallery in case you'd like to see. Still think that "Towers High" is my best yet.
