I be out of practice, but hey! It's not fanart! Plus it is purple, and I like purple. Yeah.Anywho. I decided to keep this picture very simple. When I focus too much on details I am likely to get frustrated and never finish a piece. (As I've done countless times in the last year or two.) So screw getting the lighting, proportions, shading, etc. just right. I'm just happy I finished something.
I tried to make her a tad on the curvy side, but an unhappy-accident-optical-illusion cinches her torso in with the empire waist. Yet it does the opposite to her hips XD ..Ah well.
The hint of an Alphonse Mucha vibe wasn't intended, but definitely not unwelcome. Photoshop 7 and a couple hours of indie-rock radio.

It's remember me the 70's because of the purple all over the drawing and also because of the hair and the drawing at the background.
But it also remember me the Middle Age because of the clothes of the girl and the background too.
Furthermore, as nailpipe said, it remembers me to Mucha a lot: the girl is blonde and his expression is romantic and sexy... and phantasmagoric in some way (don know how to explain...). Definitively, the girl is near an angel 
To conclude: I've fell in love of this deviation!!
