Blanchefleur is a Meowstic who comes off as confident and passionate about who she is and what she does. She’s a little weird! But would never consider her ‘weirdness’ to be something to be ashamed of. She’s all about embracing herself, and embracing those around her. Her personality loud, but not obnoxious一 she likes to make herself known, but won’t shove herself down your throat. She's a caring individual who really empathises with those around her, and at the end of the day, she just likes to make other people smile!

Outwardly, Blan is a big ray of sunshine. She’s optimistic, and it almost seems as if she’s never had a bad day in her life. She can come off as overbearing to the outsider, and ignorant as to what it's like to not be so well off. On a more personal level, however, she’s understanding, and will never force her jolly nature onto others if they aren’t comfortable with it. Blan is excitable, but she’s still a person you could see having a serious conversation with, if need be. It is to be noted however, that she can be quite nosey too. She loves to learn about people's passions and tries her best to take note of everything she’s been told. Sometimes she has trouble managing it, but Blan really wants to get her hands on everything there is to know. This makes her a wonderful person to spitball with, as she’ll always give her full attention, however it’s sometimes hard for her to not want to pry when it comes to private individuals. She wants to help! But it might not be her place to do so.

While she comes off as a successful person who always has her life together, this may not always be true. Blan is great at hiding her stress in times of need. She's a person who will wake up in the morning and put on a good show, even if she's feeling terrible on the inside. She perseveres, but this sometimes makes it so she doesn't have any time to actually tackle her problems in a healthy manner. "She's too busy" she'll say, or she "simply doesn't have time." An unfortunate consequences of this behaviour is that her negative feelings tend to leak out into other places of her social life.

Blan is a very emotionally driven person, and it's very easy for her to get worked up over other people's problems. She can't stand any injustice towards her friends or acquaintances, and will often try to take the matter into her own hands without thinking. How dare people upset those she cares about!? How dare this person do that, etc. Rudeness or cruel behaviour sends her into a frenzy she sometimes can't control. It's an unfortunate trait she holds that allows people to get to her quite easily if they so desire. Unless there is real hurt or a sob-story behind someone's behaviour, she'll hold grudges and continue the cycle of anger through passive-agressive banter and offhand comments. It stresses her out to some extent, but she doesn't always understand that she simply needs to walk away from a situation to end it. Blan gets worked up so easily that it's difficult for her to control her emotions.

Communication isn't Blan's strong suit, either. She has difficulty telling someone she has a problem with them, and she has difficulty telling others that they should do the same for her. She can get a little offended if the admittance of discomfort isn't worded meticulously. This is something she's aware of and is actively working towards to get better with, but she still has a lot of progress to make. Surface level comfort and compassion is her strong suit, not complex situations where right and wrong are hard to label.

TL;DR, Blan's a fun loving clown who has some underlying issues dealing with her emotions. She's positive, confident, and likes to bring others up, but often doesn't realise she can be a bit of an asshole at times as well.

Hometown: Diamond Island - New Moon Village

Blan was born in the simple town of New Moon Village on Diamond Island to her single father. Blan never knew who her mother was— she had left as soon as she had given birth to her, and her reluctant father was the only one around to take care of her.

From the get-go, Blan was an optimistic and happy little kitten! She'd drag her father around the village pointing at all the things she wanted, laughing, playing. The Pachirisu man wasn't as enthusiastic as his daughter, but he appreciated her for who she was. He was depressed and tired, but perhaps his young daughter brought some light back into his life that he had once lost. He couldn't match her energy, but at least he could nurture and kindle it. Not once did he ever put her down for being who she was, even if they were vastly different people from the beginning.

Blan did well in school! She was a social butterfly who liked to talk to all of the kids she knew. She was empathetic, and wanted to make people happy over everything else. It was something that also kept her father going— accepting compliments from the teachers often felt strange when he himself, felt he was a horrible and neglectful father. It was simply a miracle that his daughter had turned out so well. Sometimes he worried she would catch the depression that lingered off of him from time to time, but Blan only saw it as a reason to be stronger. She wanted her dad to be happy, too! And she'd do anything to make sure he was in good spirit. He couldn't do everything, but he sure as hell made sure she was fed and had everything she needed, even if it would kill him. To her, that was enough. She saw how much effort it took for him to keep up sometimes, so even if he couldn't do as much as other parents could, she knew he cared just as much.

High-school challenged Blan to start finding a hobby or at least something she was interested in. She'd be an adult in some years, and she'd need to figure out what she wanted to do with her life. At first she started with dancing— she was a natural performer and loved being up on stage! Part of her longed for something more, however. More excitement. On the outside it seemed as if she fit in with the rest of the girls in her dance group, but deep down, she knew there was something that set her apart. She wasn't here to be pretty or to be graceful, she just wanted to perform, to inspire, and to amaze.

After a local circus passed through town one day, Blan was inspired! New Moon Village rarely had visitors from outside, so she had never seen anything like it! She became obsessed with books depicting death-defying stunts and magic tricks that would leave any person scratching their heads in wonder. Her father felt it was a strange turn for her to take, but as long as she was being safe, he was fine with this new hobby of hers. What had he done to raise such a whacky and wild young little girl?

It wasn't until she was 18 and until she had graduated that she could pursue the career she had only dreamed about. She wanted to join a circus! Become a traveling magician, anything! But she couldn't find anything of the sort in New Moon Village. She worked some odd jobs for about a year before she decided she would have to leave to find what her heart really desired. It was hard for her to leave her father behind, but he assured her that he would be ok, and that they could keep in contact. Blan was still young, and it was going to be hard to travel all on her own, but he knew that deep down, that this is what she truly wanted. They traveled together to Diamond Port where they hugged for the last time before Blan left, waving at him with tears in her eyes as the boat set sail for Ruby Island.

Ruby was large, and vastly different from the Village Blan had grown up in. Her winter coat had shed into a sleek, breathable layer of fur. She didn't even know her body could do that! Through her naivety she joined up with the first group of performers that she could find. She didn't expect to find any, so she signed up for the first offer she could get her little hands on!

Blan found herself cleaning up after animals and doing backstage work in her new job, and she absolutely hated it. She begged the owner of the circus to let her perform, but he insisted that she wasn't talented enough. It was only when she forcefully decided to show her what she could do, that the money-hungry man finally let her get her way.

Blan was a natural performer, and the money started rolling in once she had taken to the stage. She easily progressed through the ranks and became one of the circus's main performers once she started doing the death-defying wheel of death and underwater cage escape stunts. She loved what she was able to do, however she didn't notice that her boss was using her for money— she was simply too caught up in all the hype. It wasn't until she met a timid young Ribombee that ended up being a fan of hers that her eyes began to open.

She really liked this Ribombee! His name was Felix, and although he wasn't a performer himself, he was somewhat of a connoisseur of the works from people who could do amazing, unexplainable things. He was offended to hear how much Blan was being paid! She insisted that the money didn't matter to her— all that mattered was that she was doing what she loved, however Felix wasn't so sure. It took an aggressive meeting with her current boss for her to finally decide to leave. She ran out of his office crying as he had yelled at her for refusing to take on more work. She thought he understood, but Felix was right. He did only care about the money. What was she going to do now?

It was slow, but Blan and Felix eventually settled down and decided they would run their own circus. With just the two of them, they were hardly making any money— they needed some new performers. The two of them traveled around Ruby Island, picking up new people as they went along. Felix and Blan made a promise of paying their performers well and treating them with respect! However, it was difficult when they weren't very popular. A lot of people came and went, and it was a little demotivating for Blan, but eventually, she found people who could see her passion behind her project, and things started to get a little better.

A few years passed, and Blan had accumulated a small group of performers who were loyal to her, Felix, and their cause! Felix sister, Honey, had also joined the circus, and she was a surprisingly amazing performer. With such a passionate and energetic group, their circus finally started to gain traction, and their business became a huge hit! On the night of their first success and with their first good pay in months, Felix decided he would propose to Blan. She didn't know what to say at first, but eventually the decision came naturally to her, and she said yes.

Unfortunately, things started to go down hill from that point onward. The circus was thriving and gaining more popularity by the day, but Felix had grown ill. One day, when he went to the doctor, he had discovered that he had cancer, and didn't have much longer to live. Blan was mortified, how could something like this happen!? She assured Felix that he would get better, that he just had to fight it, but as months went by, he simply just got worse and worse. When he was finally gone, Blan was faced with the fact that she'd truly have to run the circus alone.

Performance wise, things were doing okay, but Blan wasn't the best of bosses, not without Felix around. Honey, Felix's sister tried to assist in whatever ways she could, but it was obvious that she wanted to perform and not manage, and so did Blan. It was becoming a stressful experience for everyone involved. It seemed as if the circus was simply going to disband on it's own eventually, but that's when the disaster finally hit.

The small town that Blan was residing in at the time was hit particularly bad by the aftermath of the fight between Dialga and Palkia. One of her performers died in the incident, but thankfully everyone else was okay. It was at this point that everyone decided to go their separate ways. The world was changing, and there were much more important things to think about besides providing cheap entertainment. Blan decided to head back to New Moon Village to make sure her father was okay. She joined the guild there for a short amount of time, but found the work to be dreary, and not to her liking.

Blan finally decided she would move to Emerald Island, and join the Everstone Guild. It was somewhat of a rash decision, but she wanted to help. Perhaps a change of scenery would be best for her? Everstone seemed like the Guild to be if you really wanted to make a chance, so it was decided. She would join Everstone Guild.

Notes
Due to her Keen Eye ability, she has very good accuracy when it comes to her magic tricks! It's hard to see it aiding her, but she rarely makes mistakes.
Her tail shape is inherited from her Pachirisu father! It often twitches and moves around similar to that of a squirrel tail.
If you haven't noticed already, Blan loves her piercings. She doesn't wear them all at once, but she has 3 in each ear, 3 on her right eyebrow, angel bites, snake bites, and a nose ring! (she has some in other places too but lets not get into that)
Since some of her piercings go directly through her Meowstic ear organs, they actually don't function unless they are in. The metal works almost as a closing circuit for her psychic powers. She does this to make it aware that she isn't cheating with Psychic when doing her stunts-- she won't wear her ear piercings when performing.
She really likes to learn as much as possible when it comes to circus performances! She has her signature stunts (such as the underwater cage escape and the wheel of death), but she has a lot of other skills under her belt as well. Really into contact sticks at the moment.
Really dislikes being touched without permission (or being touched in general). She tries to play it cool, but her personal space is important to her, and she easily gets claustrophobic.
Currently works as a street performer!
Really likes her vintage aesthetics.
