I freaking wish this kakuzu was in Naruto!!! This is so freaking boss!!! And the way you drew him is drop dead gorgeous!! I can't look away from these panels!!!

Poor Hidan... You did these pages so well. The reader can sense his desperation, his self-pity and feelings of worthlessness. Konan, his only reason for living at this point really, is leaving him to fight alone. He wants to be able to protect her, be useful to her. He gave away his usefulness in combat to be with her, and it is now starting to settle in. He realizes what his situation is. He wants to beg, scream for her to come back. For her to understand what he's feeling. His words are so perfect. "What's the point of living if you make me feel like a worthless shit!!"

The pauses in this sentence, the final ring it has to it... It really makes an impact.
And you can see he is feeling worthless, because he doesn't try to fight Kakuzu. He is giving into his negative emotions (for now)

I freaking wish I could see this animated... Hearing Kakuzu's monster voice... And Hidan softly saying "It's almost impossible to see you in your real form, Kakuzu chan". I can sense his calm, and yet melancholic tone. Like, he has no energy left, no will, no desire left for life. It's simply an observation. He is accepting whatever Kakuzu plans to do with him at this moment. He is letting another person make a decision for him. Which is so rare. 

And I see Kakuzu being gentle with Hidan in this moment, because he senses his brokenness... The more monster-like he is on the outside, the gentler he is... Because Kakuzu is emotional here too... But he is hiding his face.

I just really feel Kakuzu and Hidan's connection in this page. Even though they fight like cats and dogs, they care about each other, and will look out for one another. Hidan knows Kakuzu cares. 

It just means so much

Her walking away seems similar to when he was a kid with his mother ignoring him; it also seems similar in that he's weak(er) now. I don't know if I like the idea of this being Kakuzu's 'true' form :/ seems strange like what even is he now? wasn't he meant to be human that learned that weird technique (I guess not in your story) but now he's like a monster/demon. still, it's your story so I guess there's a reason for it.

(also did you mean "It's hard to look at you in your real form"/ "It's strange to see you in your true form", impossible seems wrong here but maybe I'm wrong since no one else is saying anything haha.)

Amazing page, very emotional. I almost feel his desperation. Also I love his bromance with Kakuzu, I always loved it. This two totally my fav characters of all time. 
Interesting idea with real form and human body as a mask. Really great. I think Kuzu's voice must sounds like the voice of Yog-Sarron from "World of Warcraft". And this headcanon glads me) 
Want more, hope to see continue soon enough. Amazing work, dear!

Poor Hidan. Everyone treating him like a fragile child. And realizing He was only useful to everyone because of his immortality. If he didn't have it, he would of never joined akatsuki or meet konan in the first place.

Feels worthless, and outcast. Not just from Konan but from the whole akatsuki.. and even now his immortality is still a curse.

DED. Hidaaaaannn babeeee.

I bet he feels like everything he's done doesn't fucking mater. As a mortal he can't stand with the gods and monsters of the Akatsuki. Kakuzu hugging hidan close and protecting him. Making me very emotional. 

People scolding hidan like a child, "go home" there is nothing he can do. 

My poor baby. Kakuzu, give him more hugs.
