I started this two weeks or so ago, I think, but then I just had to get sick and I kind of forgot about this, hahaAnyway, more background practice, yay
I initially wanted this to be autumn themed (favorite season) to celebrate October or something, but I dunno, I kind of doodled a butterfly and bam, we get Celestia and Twilight totally amazed by monarch butterflies instead
I like to draw Celestia naked without her regalia too much
Background highly and directly inspired by Disney's Brother Bear

The setting to this scene feels beautiful, happy, and peaceful! It doesn't feel like two princesses; it feels like two friends, just enjoying the moment for what it is!

It's mainly the reason I bother to post all these, besides doing just what I enjoy, I'm happy my drawings can somehow communicate their mood or message to the viewer
