Autumn was born on the 2nd of August into a well-off family in Everfall. The newborn grew up in a rather spacious house close to a very diverse group of stores, schools, and other establishments. Because of the ever-rising amount of violence in Alexandria, a number of Autumn's aunts and uncles moved to Everfall to stay with the family. Both of Autumn's parents were board members of the Department of Education, so most of Autumn's childhood was spent on doing chores and taking care of younger cousins after school.

Autumn began having severe problems at school during their third year at Elementary. They would disrespect their teachers and pick fights with others, but parent conferences were always avoided due to Autumn's parents' positions in the school board. When confronted about the issue, Autumn would explain that their classmates and teachers would mock and make fun of them for their lack of intelligence and struggles to understand the grade objectives.

Because of the large amount of time they had to take care of smaller children, Autumn developed an interest to cooking, which they practiced nearly every day. Autumn's parents were ecstatic about their new hobby, as Autumn had never really taken an interest to anything but fighting, and supported them like any parent would. After finishing middle school, Autumn applied to several cooking schools in their area, but was unfortunately rejected by every single one, due to their pitiful academic performance and terrible conduct. These two variables are what landed Autumn in one of the worst schools in Everfall.

Upon entering high school, Autumn realized that they did not feel like a girl at all. Worried and concerned, Autumn confronted their aunt Eve about their feelings, who calmly explained that it was nothing but a phase, which was NOT the answer Autumn was looking for. After doing some research online, they were absolutely overjoyed about the fact that what they felt was normal. Autumn knowingly indentified as agender from that point on. But before they decided to tell their family about it, Autumn did a little more research. "If what I feel about not identifying as a girl is normal, then..." Autumn recognized the fact that they didn't feel sexual attraction towards anyone in particular unless they had a strong bond with said person. Their sexual attraction seemed to based on the amount of romantic attraction or the intensity of the bond with someone, and quite frankly, Autumn was pretty okay with it. Romantic attraction, however, was something Autumn could feel for anyone, whether they themselves indentified as male, female, or neither. To put it short, gender was not an issue in Autumn's book. Thankfully, their sexual and romantic orientations were also valid.

Sadly, Autumn never came out to their parents. Seeing their aunt's reaction sprouted a terrible hypothesis; "If my aunt thought it was nothing but a phase, the rest of my family will too..." It hurt Autumn terribly to hide their true self from their loved ones, but they would not take such a risk that could turn out badly. After being laughed at their whole life by classmates and teachers, Autumn wanted anything but to be ridiculed by the people they loved most.

Life from that point on was rather dull and repetitive, until the day of the king's message. “Hello to all of my citizens in The Western Summer. I have a very important announcement that you should not ignore. I will be rounding up some of our citizens to go on a very important journey. No need to be alarmed, but some of our non-conforming residents here are lacking in some vital education, so my men and women will be helping them.” Autumn was forcefully dragged out from the home they loved so dearly, but not before they put up a fight. Sadly, they couldn't stand much against two or three soldiers, and finally gave up; tears flooding their cheeks as they hoarsely screamed their last goodbyes to their cousins.

"Oh, thank god you're here." Lexie grabs my arms, pulling me toward her chest. I rest my cheek on her glossy satin gown, letting her take me away. "What's going on?" I mutter, still drowsy. Even though I can't see her face, I know she's eyeing Theo with an icy glare, as always. "Nothing dear! Lex's is just a bit under the weather! You know how she is, spitting nonsense when she's not feeling well..." Theo chuckles back. "Come on, Oliver. Let's not waste time with such utter garbage." Lexie coos. It's not gentle, but menacing, as though I'm the one she's fighting with.

"Garbage? Is that all you can come up with? God, you're such a prissy little bitc-" I hear a loud, sharp THWACK, and struggle to keep myself from laughing. I didn't sense Theo being that close, but before I overthink the situation, I pull away from Lexie's grasp and rush off to my bedroom. I don't want to deal with their daily "cat" fights anymore. I just want to sleep. Nearly throwing myself onto my mattress, I close my eyes and count sheep. I don't even reach 20 before I doze off.
