Ara knew she had underestimated the destructive power of high heels when her right foot began to ache. When her left started feeling raw, she gave in. The heels had won. Submitting to the cries of her feet, Ara awkwardly waddled to a patch of grass and squatted down. Thinking deeply about her choices with furrowed brows, she knew that if she plopped down in her current position she'd likely rip the dress; folding her legs under her wasn't ideal, but for the sake of what modesty she had left, she'd deal with the discomfort. With a yawn, she looked around lazily for something to occupy herself with; her daydreams were never pleasant. Finding nothing other than a couple of bugs (which she swatted away), Ara began to pick the garden flowers. She'd absentmindedly made a long braid of entwined blossoms before hearing a rustle behind her. Upon turning around with raised brows and a question on her lips, she was met with a pair of curious golden honey eyes.
