You know, I've had Rainbow Rocks on repeat for like the entire month becasue of these latest projects... Seriously. On repeat. It helps me keep the spirit of the characters and the movie as a whole in mind as I work.
Something that confuses me about these three is that in Equestria they are CALLED "sirens," they ARE hippocamps (hippocampi?), and for some reason when they transform they get WINGS. Wha-?...
Oh well, they make for pretty dolls, right?

Each character, lines and basic colors, took a full work day to complete. Each. The shading/shadows and everything else took another day. In total, FOUR work days of effort went into making this one.

I like to think that they have those fin-like wings as a reference to the original Greek sirens, which were half-bird instead of half-fish. It also could be that having a giant fin on their "human" backs didn't really look right...

Well, practically no one draws them in siren form (I've seen like maybe 5-6 pieces total that have). It's much more common to see them in Pony form (which they don't have).
I do love the sirens. They're what happens when Windigos and Changelings crossbreed (feeding off of negative emotion like Windigos, but directly manipulating it like Changelings, as well as it being specifically strife that they feed off of).

I think I've said this before... but are you going to do Tirek, Ahuizotl, Mane-iac and... god forbid.. the Diamond Dogs stained glass? Not that I hate them, I just can't think of anything else...

I hate to admit it, but once again, you've done an excellent job on your Kingdom Hearts stained glass projects for My Little Pony.
Adagio, Aria, and Sonata look great in this piece!!

Surprisingly enough, Sonata Dusk DOESN'T look the least menacing; even more surprising (though not by much), it's Aria Blaze who's the least menacing here. Adagio Dazzle remains more menacing than both of them put together, regardless.
And yes, the plural for that term is "Hippocampi". The singular is "Hippocampus".

I thought the hippocampus was part of the brain, and that a hippocamp was the creature. Yes, I know that the brain part was sort of named after the creature, but I thought that was the distinction nowadays.

Love the shading and texture.
As for the wings, seahorses have those little water wings, and the Dazzlings wings are really fins. Clearly, they are able to fly through the air by means of magic.
