I had a hard time with Hiccup himself and Stoick. There is very little variety of hidef images of all the characters of this movie. I was lucky to find a coloring page of toothless in roughly this pose, and the normal promo coloring pages of Astrid and Gobber worked well for this piece. But there are NO coloring pages/hidef images of Stoick, despite his importance in the film, and almost all images of Hiccup were either front views or 20-yr-old him. Even screenshots of the film weren't hidef enough. but I think I made it work.
I went with the first film for this stained glass because I like it better than the second one. Have you ever watched a movie and felt like it was just MADE for you? HTTYD is that for me. The main character doesn't fit in, no one listens to him (like how I feel) even though he's so intelligent and talented, it's got my favorite animals, has a fantastic secret, flight/freedom/trust, an epic aerial battle at the end, permanent but not -too- sad consequences, and a fitting happy ending. Perfect.
I can still watch this movie on repeat all day and not get sick of it.

Don't ask me to make one for the second film, unless you want to commission one. *Commissions are still closed atm. Keep an eye on my journal for announcements of when they are open.
