Thanks!
Loved your website! Reminds me of my early days, loving those WWII model covers and building scores of planes & ships from the kits. I still have (unbuilt) a Shinden canard (Japan), the most beautiful plane ever built!

Your Very Welcome!
And Thank You So Much! I Love History On World War II!
I Especially Love The Yorktown Class Aircraft Carriers! Especially USS Enterprise CV-6! She's So Bad Ass! Enterprise Is My Hero! And Now I'm So Pissed Off That They Scrapped USS Enterprise CV-6!
If Any Ship Deserves To Be A Floating Museum/Memorial, It's USS Enterprise CV-6!

Yes, there was so much history there, it's too much to relate here...Must have read "Incredible Victory" by Walter Lord, 100 times!
"Queen Of The Flat-Tops" by Stanley Johnson, was another influence, illustrated by Ed Valigursky-I loved that cover (still have it today), and he was Popular Mechanics main artist in the 60-80's.
I seriously considered being a WWII artist, until this encounter with artist Keith Ferris (short story here)

Thanks! My old editor Jim Baen (Baen Books) said "Make your cover figures look like movie stars" (that was back in 1984)
