I like to believe, at first, Vitani didn't feel like she really belonged in the pride let alone with the princess and her friends, so she spent a lot of time along unsure of her place, but Kiara has a thoughtful heart and would invite her to join her in hunting
Tifu is open to all Kiara's choices, unlike Zuri who is against the idea of an outlander joining the princess.
