Well...yes and no. You ever heard of a website called Gaia Online? Well, there's this RP (Role-playing) Family called the "FMA Family" and I was voted to be their Edward Elric. While, in another family, one called "AK-47" (for God only knows (even if I'm agnostic)), I'm their Colonel Roy Mustang. XD So yes...and no! XD

As I was saying...
This is a fantastic drawing of an emotionally tense scene. Eps 50 and 51 in the ruined city are extremely hard to watch.
I envision it this way: Ed has just seen Al "reassembled" within the gate and he is telling his little brother goodbye because he has offered himself, body, mind and soul to the Gate. And Ed is sure he is going to die for real.
Little does he know about the Gate's perverse sense of humor...
Of course, you may have something completely different in mind. In that case, feel free to ignore my ramblings. Just one of my many bad habits.

Sorry...it's from a role-play I did. Above, it's not the EXACT wording, but it's basically what happen...then he gets brought back because Al WAS saved, and he's brought back as Denial...
Man, Ed needs to think about the logic in this...since there is none...I just play it by whatever's in my imagination! : D
