OMG I can't believe I made a tutorial!
I've followed others' tutorials for three years and I practically learned everything from them!
But some people asked about my way of painting hair and so... here's my first hair tutorial! XD

As you can see, my way of painting is pretty simple; also, my Photoshop version lacks of some tools such as the dodge tool, so I had to find alternative methods to obtain a softer result: I always use the airbrush, but I used to use soft brushes when I worked with a mouse.

Well... I really hope you find it useful! ^^
Please, let me know if the instructions aren't clear enough: you can ask me whatever you want, if you need help to understand difficult steps.
Also... please, let me know if there are grammar mistakes in the texts! XD I've been studying English for ages, but I'm not English. :'D

Bello!

It's great to know that you were able to put this tutorial together afterall, and I have to say that the result is a very good one! A sign of a good tutorial is one that makes a seemingly difficult technique look and feel rather simple, and I think that's what you were able to do here. I'm quite impressed by how few layers that it take you to get the results you do on hair like this, actually. Plus, this tutorial does offer nice room for experimentation (something you seem to encourage, as well), which is pretty great.

Although a Photoshop tutorial, I can see some methods here that might be useful in other programs, as well (my only concern as far as other programs go is whether or not they have something similar to the "flow" option for brushes using the mouse). Last, but not least, this is a very-well written tutorial; don't worry to much about your English, as it's definitely understandable and shows you have a really good feel for the English vocabulary! Overall, I can't really find anything to complain about here. Thanks and superb job!

Glad you've found it useful! ^____^
I believe every graphic programme has its own potentialities; obviously I can't say anything about those which are different from Photoshop, because I've never used other programmes apart from it. Hmm...actually, I started my first digital paintings with Corel Draw 12, but I was not able to use it in the right way and I can't remember anything about its functions! XD

Haha! Well, while I was making it I thought: "Since I started, it's better if I add as many instructions as possible!" XD Sometimes I can be a very perfectionist person, this was one of the cases. I'm very happy you think so about the explanation... and I'm even happier about the language! Hearing from a native that your English is good is very satisfactory for those who study the language!
