yeah i know what you mean i have those problems too. then you gotta re-draw it and re-draw it and re-draw it til you are pleased ^^' i have this problem latly with paws and ears which it pretty annoying.

okay e.g. if i want to draw a wolf head in an half-profil view i never know if i draw the ears in the right place. The paws are actually okay right now.

Well, for starters, look at a video where a wolf turns its head (Youtube video or other video sites), or just a picture of a wolf in that pose, or maybe as an example take a ball of some sort and use something like clay to model ears on it, see how it looks when you turn it...could be an orange with foil stuck on it, or any sort of thing that could be used as a model for the top of a wolf's head.
I'm not that good with advice.
As for my leg problem, even though I've studied pictures of many cat legs and know the general proportions, I still can't get certain parts to look right, mostly the lower half and back. I always end up with a sort of "chicken drumstick" look. The problem is mostly confined to standing/walking poses, though not jumping and the like. It's really strange. I guess I'll just study more.

yes that sounds like a good idea 
hmm okay i think continue studing is not a bad idea then, mabye you can draw some pictures you can find on google for learning it or like you said on youtube. do you have cats ? then you could take some photos of them and draw it.

I know, there are too few cheetah characters around, and 95% of the time they are "sexy anthro girl in bikini" or "cheetah with big hair poof". It's awful! There is no diversity!

Maybe someday I'll get to one of those "cool cheetahs on DA" combo pics (which most definitely includes crowned or zephyr) - but for now I say, maybe I should draw Tao, because drawing at all would be helpful >_> lol
