Yes but I'm talking about abrupt plot twists that end the story arc with a "lucky accident"
For example when Annet destroyed the big bad cancer monster and everything was suddenly alright again, or when the mug suddenly oneshot the Arbitrator and freed Snippy. I was expecting some sort of "battle" or at least that the character would find a way to escape other than making use of godpowers (laser mug). If an element of a story is overpowered ( = godpowers), it takes away all the fun. That's why deus ex in repetition is bad...
