AlexJJessup In reply to Airforcebrony [2015-06-12 18:45:18 +0000 UTC]
Yes. I did the normal 1 year program, and I was one of the first 2 students to do the Advanced Diploma program right after that.

Good luck! and yeah, advanced diploma is totally worth it or was at least for me. But it's an invite program, so do well the first year!

hey one more question. i remmber you saying that you use to do small doodles and such before the program nothing big. an i seen the before and after on the fzd webpage. the before, is that the kind of work you produced/ sent in for your portfolio when enrolling to fzd?
π: 0 β©: 1
AlexJJessup In reply to Airforcebrony [2015-12-10 04:20:09 +0000 UTC]
Yeah, that was the standard of all my portfolio work, maybe even a bit better. A portfolio of that quality probably wouldn't get you into the school anymore since it's large enough now to actually start picking which students they take. When I applied the school was still young enough and needed the money from anyone that applied.Β
The doodles I did before making my portfolio for FZD were even more simple. Just abstract swirly 2d patterns.Β

naw, MRAPS are of different design, and significant size, made to withstand the Explosions of I.E.D's, These lovely things are what liger stated, M-ATV's Not as Armored as the MRAP, but still very nice toys!

Saw some early versions of the quad-rotor in the net. And the trailers from the movie Edge of Tomorrow. I give it till the end of the decade, if not sooner, before we see a prototype in the air.Β

We have only around 7 months until the end and we still have no quad tilt-rotor. Bell is however making a new tilt-rotor for the DOD's Future Vertical Lift program, the Bell Valor V-280. Looks promising.
