Wow. This blew me away. I am a Spider-Man nut for sure, but this goes further than that.
You have captured something Baroque with this painting, in part through your use of chiaroscuro, but also with the pose you picked.

I don't know why but I just find him more like in mild shock than in agony. He's like re-enacting a more dramatic version of when he lost his backpack. xD

spider man = the best hero
reason why is that he actually feels relatable than most other super heroes, his powers are also noticeably under powered compared to the planet busters and world altering monsters that other super heroes both are and fight

Yeah, right. That's why I don't like the new Marvel Cinematic version - he received a ton of high tech gadgets from Tony Stark and basically became the second Iron Man (kind of).

actually i'm cool with the film ones because they still keep 1 thing certain, he is just a kid
sure he has gadgets but really most of them are his web shooters which add a layer of weakness because they seem to break in the final fight... like all the time in the films in the last fight (ignoring toby because he had organic webs)
even with the iron spider suit he is still limited, it's not like he "destroys a planet by taking 1 step" i hear that happened with the hulk once and my eyes rolled so much they felt like they would pop out and roll away

That said, there's are lots of different variations of Spider-Man and it's always interesting to see a different approach.

true there are many stories of these characters, sadly some (if not most) are just flat out stupid
but some are really good, i personally prefer the spidermen in the films and games really
