Description
Made another version of the Uplifted, animal hybrids with human level sapience. You have the three from last time (the Great Ape, the Dolphopod, and the Parovid) but I made two changes.

The least obvious one is that I added pigeon to the mix of the Parovid (the bird) because pigeon are actually ranked as one of the most intelligent animals as well. So from now on the Parovid will be called the Parogeon (which is actually a more interesting name IMO).

The most obvious change is that I added a forth species to the uplifted. I call them Behemoths and they are a combination of elephants, pigs, goats, and canines. Unlike the other uplifted, the Behemoths were given an extra modification, that being their split trunks for better manipulation of their environment. They are omnivores that stand at around 8ft at the shoulder on average. Like elephants, they mainly communicate through low frequency sound waves which makes interspecies communication difficult save for the Dolphopods. They get around this by using their trunks in a form of sign language or having Parogeons translate other sounds for them. Strong, intimidating, and possessing superior sense of smell and hearing, the Behemoths would be valued as security for important individuals.

Still not sure if I’ll include them in the Centauri Universe. I just don’t want it to become too convoluted. What do you all think? In any case, this was still fun to do.

BTW, I have the Dolphopod swimming in a water filled tube system that would allow it to get to different locations.
