Description
Actual title is "Mother Nature Leaves the Planet" but it didn't fit.Another oldie and goodie. Circa 1999, ink.
This time a girl finds some fungus growing in the Black Hills, which leads her to a part of the forest she'd never seen before.
A place where again time is broken.
A place of water-filled skies and beauty unimaginable.
A place of the past.
A place invaded by horrible greedy snakes.
A mountain's face describes the ways of the old. A rock opens its mouth, a cat stretches, and a snake scurries across her path. She is afraid but she realizes she has been here before. The mountain fortells of the Mother adorning her mushroom hat and flying away. The hands of the disrespectful will ask for help in a barren land. Eventually the rock face and its secrets erodes away, before the snakes learn the truth.

It's kinda blurry, like, when it got scanned it didn't scan dark enough.

I couldn't scan it, it was too big - so it's a photo. I couldn't use a flash because of the glare on the ink. So that's probably why it's blurry!

I agree - it's a photo actually. The original is too big for a scan. I tried, but couldn't manage to match it exactly with multiple scans - it lost a lot of quality so I just said screw it and photographed it.

it was actually AFTER an induced experience with some rather strong fungi. it was an amazing experience overall, with the sotry actually being partway true.

yes, i noticed that too. this is a photo- not a scan -no flash because that whited it out and made the black appear shiny. So the blur is because I didn't use a tripod, and the grey is because the paper was bent that way and there wasn't enough natural light.

well, the blurriness is easy to fix, just smallen the pic a bit... the greys disappear by adding contrast to the area
