He kills an innocent women tries to drown her baby keeps him in a bell tower lusts after women burns people alive offers their freedom for sex all while professing to be a good christian man. This reminds of me of the scene in Phantom of the Opera where Christine kisses the Phantom and he falls to pieces.

I could see something similar happening to Frollo in this situation.

But of course, Phantom wasn't nearly as evil as Frollo.

No one has ever made the connection between Frollo/Esmeralda to Erik/Christine before.

And I love you for it.

I hadn't even thought of it and Phantom is my favorite fandom. Well. Well, well. I actually once drew a phantom/christine scorpion kiss picture and its on my flickr account that's on a link on my main page. I can't seem to get it off there and onto here, though. Ugh.

Maybe I should draw another one.

I totally agree! I also see where Erik and Frollo are somewhat similar. Both have a sexy, deep voice, and they also sing really well too. Both wear black and look damn fine in it! They both are roughly about the same age and both are also deeply obsessed for one woman. Of course Disney Frollo is considered more evil than his book counterpart, even more evil than Erik, but hey, he's still super hot anyway. Both would be so intense and passionate in bed. I swear, it would not be a dull moment with these two, haha!

I never really thought of the connection until your picture which is just so similar to that last scene.

Im obsessed with phantom of the opera. Theres a very large part of me that was crushed when she picked raoul at the end not phantom (despite the insane killing spree).

I am so obsessed with Phantom that I was naturally pissed off when the Phantom of the Opera movie SUCKED.

Frollo was a very interesting character. I had a love/hate feeling towards him. He has a sexy voice, I totally agree but then he was such a cruel bastard and so my emotions were very muddled up
