Description Realted to: [link]

The Den of a pack of internet trolls, resting between hunts for delicious LULZ (I'll finish the background sometime...)

At the front of the cave, an adult keeps watch for both potential pry and intruders.

Another adult grooms two young trolls, possibly her most recent litter. Trolls are caring family members, carefully raising their own and teaching them the ways of the hunt.

Two other adults rest together- Trolls form very deep bonds between pack members and mourn the loss of a member deeply.

The oldest, battle scarred leader of the pack educated a younger member on the finer points of the hunt and Troll Ettiquite- maintaining a clean den to avoid attracting moderators, the feeding order at a kill, etc.

This particular pack shares their den with a hacker. In addition to not being very tasty, the hacker is too nimble to catch and faces no danger here.

They are so cute! Now I want an internet troll plushie!

Perhaps you should consider expanding on trolls in terms of different species. Particularly, the "concern troll" because they have become so ubiquitous or obnoxious in recent years. However, it might not be an actual species of "true" internet troll, but an organism that is an example of mimicry.

I have an idea, The mary-sue. Mary sues are very overpowered beasts with little to no weakness or flaws and has all power and smartness.

I wonder would Internet Trolls survive if they were a race in World of Warcraft, Thor, or Skyrim?

If they lived in Skyrim I bet all the Dragonbournes would be given a bounty to wipe them all out for being jerks on Youtube all the time

If they lived in World of Warcraft they'd be destroyed by the Lich King for sure, for being more evil then him lol

And finally if they lived in Thor, Thor would call in Hulk to smash each one of them for mocking his youtube videos

Is it just me, or do those baby trolls look an awlful lot like lesser/fail trolls?

Still a cute scene though.

They do, and it's on purpose- a young troll often fails at it's first attempts at hunting, and if it doesn't learn from it's elders will develop into a fail-troll.

(Related, not "Realted".)
This is an endearing look at trolls.

Aha! Fixy typo...

They're quite charming, once you get to know them.

Genius once again. I've only observed surface-level troll interactions, but this seems to be pretty accurate!

I base all of my research on lurking at the BHB.
And my boyfriend's current roommate is an IRL 4chan troll.

They're a bit like that skitzy dog your neighbors or some relative had when you were a kid- it needed to be approached correctly to make friends, otherwise it would snap at you.

I had a guess that's where you got it from. ;D
Really? That's got to be...interesting.

Precisely!

Seeing as it's featured in the group and all.

Much more agreeable than one might at first imagine. He wanders in, says a non-sequitor as a greeting, steals some food, gives us presents or random things he found on the internet and wanders away again.
So really, he's like a very large, non-pettable cat.

They really are. Trolls are real harmless. Well, unless they use hacking tools and unnecessary force.

I put trolls and hackers in different categories.
Trolls play pranks (sometimes they're a more than a little mean-spirited, but no lasting damage), while hackers steal information and money.

The destructive trail left by both looks similar, which causes some confusion.
