Description
For the amazing toby4700 with his OC Ciki Bitorajac and a post-Eden's Gate Hurk Drubman for Far Cry; EE ~ part two upcoming sometime tomorrow.
I can totally imagine Hurk just deciding to get back to globe-trotting again after the entire fiasco with Eden's Gate ravaged his home because he lowkey wants to escape his family, his parents constantly bickering and feuding with each other, his problems, all the explosions going on, that entire nuclear disaster thingie, his own restlessness and the overall mess Joseph's followers left in their wake and re-live the glory days of Rook Island and Kyrat all while escaping the chaos, drama and shanenigans in the process - he gets horribly lost somewhere along the way behind the Iron Curtain, ends up in the war-torn, troubled Eastern Bloc by sheer accident, having a knack for stumbling upon the wrong place at the wrong time, bumps into an unassuming Ciki, and after like approximately half an hour of knowing him (saying that very, very loosely), he already decides they're gonna be best friends forever and ever and ever and takes it upon himself to commemorate the occasion by shabbily painting and proving his affections on his bared beer gut in front of the desecrated statue of General Valenta all while making a few grammar errors in the process and putting up his fists as a silent threat to anyone who tries to cross his new bud.
A semi-confused, entertained Ciki thinks it's weirdly endearing of a gesture. Poor guy's probably seen and experienced weirder things then a crazy, over-attached foreigner.

Hurk-A'right, new Tat-Bro Ciki!
Ciki-Tat...Bro?
Hurk-This gonna be just like the Rook Islands and Kyrat. Not so much Oros, since we got guns and what not.
Ciki-Wait, how many times have done this kind of thing?
Hurk-Let's lay the smack down on them Revolutionary d-bags!
Ciki-...Okay.
Agreed that Hurk would want to get back into his globe trotting ways after all the trouble with Eden's Gate (although, nuclear disaster? Wha'cha talking about, Alme...that ah...that never happened...goddammit Ubisoft ) Anyway, a great pic as always, love Ciki's facial expression and Hurk's new tat. Also, the ominous background with all the crows is really fitting.
Great work.

1st tat bro: Jack
2nd tat bro: Jason
3rd Tat bro: Ajay
Now Cikki. Hell yeah.
Though for the nuclear ending I actually like to imagine the Jackal (regardless if he's Carver like everyone says he is...) witnessing (either hearing or seeing the nuke) and being like "Yeah I fucking saw this coming"

Agreed, that actually is pretty much my headcanon for the ending of FC5.

Old Hurk would probably wanna ignore the nuclear nonsense as much as you do, so when he gets to travelling again, and he's curiously questioned about it by the locals on how he even got out alive in the first place (he just kind of has a way of getting out of mortal danger throughout various installments anyway), he just curves giving out any valid explanations and promptly responds with something utterly ridiculous like "Uhh, bro, stories were greatly exaggerated. Someone left the oven on or something. I survived like Indiana Jones. I hid in the fridge, man. Got propelled to safety by the blast. Hoo! Boy! It was crazy voodoo-hoodoo stuff. You wouldn't believe it. I don't believe it either! It's unbelievable!"
Meanwhile, Ciki's like:
Yeah, I had to reference Kingdom of the Crystal Skull 'cos the mushroom cloud and the following escape in that one is equally baffling.
But, anyhow, thanksies, glad you liked it.
