Description
The harrow ("chulylyx" in the draconic tongue, sometimes referred to as an "embalmer" or "arm spider") is a large pseudo-arthropod that makes its home in dark but warm spaces across Almyrigo. It prefers to nest in places that're uninhabited but attract frequent visitors and pilferers, such as disused mines, heirless estates, and royal tombs, though large and poorly-kept farms can also attract them. It can run quickly and leap surprising distances, but prefers to move slowly until spotted, and may turn tail if not close enough to lunge immediately. The harrow consumes its victims in a horrifying and mysterious way, latching on with its powerful graspers and draining all moisture from the body in a matter of seconds.
