Description This is the only sketch that I had time to colour this weekend. I did scan the rest, so hopefully next weekend I'll get around to finishing those. Even this one is a rush job, as you can probably tell.

Anyway, this is Korinku, one of the new Pokemon, and I absolutely adore it. Its evolutions are awesome too. (I drew those too, but like I said, had no time to colour them yet)

It might not be totally accurate because I didn't look for the official artwork and just used the tiny game sprite for reference. (I didn't feel like going online at the time. XP)

Anyway... not much else to say. It's boring, but so are most of the sketches in my book. =/ I've got to learn to try more complicated poses...

My cousin, he got really bored one day and figured out the meaning of the Pokemon names. I guess the names of the new ones don't have any meaning now.

In Japanese or English? Because the new games aren't out in English yet, and so Korinku and post of the others will get new names when that happens. (And they should have meaning... I'd assume so, anyway)

Yeah, I suppose some of them may not be as clear… but most of them are pretty obvious (to the point where I found a lot of them to be stupid XD) I mean, Wingull, Beautifly, Nosepass… they’re not that creative with names now.

Hopefully you do get the games when they come out... they're really awesome! And addicting. xD The only thing I found disappointing is the limited amount of Pokemon available before you get the National Dex. I was sick of every single field of grass being filled with Geodude or Bippa. -_- (Although I am exaggerating a little, you'll see what I mean when you get the game.)

Eh, I won't mind too much. I just know I have to plan on getting emerald, saphire, and leaf green so I can unlock more than just with ruby and fire red. xD I want to get a black or white DS lite and make my own skins for it, that'd make me squeal with joy.

The main reason that bugged me is because I prefer to get most of the Pokemon I like during the game, rather than after the elite 4. But hey, at least almost all of them are available in some way. And the WiFi is <3. I got some nice guy to trade me a Cyndaquil that way. ^^ Black or white DS lite, huh? Sounds cool. XD

Awwr, yea. I didn't know you had to beat the Elite 4 before the national dex, I thought you just had to at least encounter all the Shinou pokemon to unlock it...Then again, I only skimmed through the stuff on Serebii, and yea, since you've played it you'd know better than me. xD

Well, the good thing is I think you can still make trades before getting the national dex, so you can always get certain Pokemon that way. ^^

I don't right now....but by the time I get a DS I might...actually. I think McDs has wifi...if I remember right, or the coffee shop at least does, if it's still open by then. The place has shut down and reoppened three times. Different name, different owners...it's weird it's been a coffee shop each time, since before it was an Eagles Club thing or something.
