Personality: Spends a lot of time mirroring her brother, it can be hard to see the difference between the two sometimes. They're both sneaky, upbeat, flirty, clever, immature, in-synch with each other, and they both try a bit too hard to be cool and will do dumb things just to get a laugh out of an apprentice. They've been together so long, they're pretty similar. Stoatnose tends to be more protective of her twin, worried he'd get in trouble without her.

History
Loner/PoolClan
Twins Stoat and Ermine were born outside in PoolClan. Their parents were loners (so lonesome they spoke in obscure out-dated slang) who were killed when the kits could barely hunt. Taking care of each other, the twins were inseparable. They were found by a young Firepaw and Darkpaw, who they became instantly attached to and followed back to PoolClan where they were trained side-by-side as Stoatpaw and Erminepaw, finally being named Stoatnose and Erminestep. It was not meant to last. The clans were told to leave, so the quartet did (though Darkriver took a lot of persuading). Soon they were adrift over the deep blue sea, starving slowly.
SplashClan
A survivor, Stoatnose joined SplashClan with her twin and their friends, enthused about what turned out to be a swimming pool. They soon donned necklaces, becoming fashion icons. Things were going perfectly okay until a bad storm hit and all the other clans came for a visit. Stoatnose was hanging out with Firestrike that night when suddenly, Erminestep and Darkriver ran in in a panic, saying they had accidentally killed their leader, Copperstar. She and Firestrike went alone to investigate, and when they saw the leader, he killed him again, intending to finish him off and keep the other two from being found out, but they were interrupted, so they fled the scene. By morning though, Copperstar was dead. Freaked out, the four split from the crowd together and stayed in a room all day until they were found. When the four clans confronted each other, it was revealed that Streamdapple had overheard that Darkriver and Erminestep had killed Copperstar once. Streamdapple then defeated all four of them in battle with ease, and SplashClan was taken over.
In a post-loss meeting, it became clear that no one trusted the PoolClanners anymore, but they had an idea. They returned to SplashClan as spies, partly so that they could still have the pool, and set up base in the pool shed. Firestrike confessed their murder to RainClan and OceanClan, and they received no trouble for it. They suggested that the world already ended and this is all just the afterlife, but had no solid backing. Bazzaniashine, a WeedClanner who'd become SplashClan's medicine cat, started back on his therapy sessions, talking to everyone to see where they were at. Stoatnose talked about how Erminestep had accidentally killed someone without her around.
It quickly dawned on her that the therapy sessions might be the best thing to spy on. They just needed to learn to be sneaky. Instead she caught Porpoisestar and Chipmunkstar on some kind of date, confirmed later by Darkriver seeing a bit more than he'd like.
