very nice. how did u do the sunlight part without using a lensflare? i ve been trying to learn that for a long time now. maybe you could teach me or introduce me to a tutorial? thx.

I just brushed it. I had the base layer then I made a layer over it with white set to overlay (I think) and adjusted the opacity to get what I wanted.

I don't believe it is where the smaller planets are located as much as the entire right half of the imgae under the large planet seems empty. Adding something there would make the piece feel complete.

maybe a small galaxy render with a low opacity could fill in the space well
