ya! the first upload for 2005. i'm testing out my new wacom tablet (still trying to get the hang of it) after i retired my genuis tablet(sob! sob!) now i'm back to work on my APU.Related content

Scratch that last comment about the eyes. The edges of the mouth do line up with the center of the eyes, as they should, but something still feels off about the overall proportions. I think it's the shortness of the muzzle? I can't put my finger on it...I'm sorry. I know this is just a test piece though....you were probably more intent on doing the coloring, which looks very good.

Gorgeous coloring on this, as always! Your rendering techniques are amazing.
My only nit-pick is that his eyes look too far apart given the size of his head, and the shortness of his muzzle. I think if you brought the eyes closer together, it might look a bit better.
But this is such a small nit-pick....it's barely noticeable.

it's a really cool artwork.
I like the cartoony character better than this sort of realistic.
I don't know if this is your style, maybe you are changing

yeah the wacom tablet was hard at first, but after awhile, it makes that work much easier as well as faster. And Awesome job on ur artwork!

My first (and only) tablet was a wacom graphire2, and I still thing is the best comp accesory I have ever bought... ^^ *pets it* I have been, although, looking for some new models, including intuos and graphire3, I guess you have got one of the newest ones... ;3
Hehehe, and, Lol, I'm curious about how do you get this hair effect so well... it's a pity you didn't take "In progress" screenshoots like you do in other piccies, it would be interesting to realize what's your technique to learn from you....

somehow graphire 3 is not as much set up function as graphire 2, and no short cut keys(don't use them any way) the plastic PVC surface was replaced with a thick plastic plating, (to slippery). there seems to be a lot of draw back on graphire 3, i wish i can get intous 3, but some expensive 1 intous 3 is about the price of 4 graphire 3, but it performes way better than graphire, and it's made in japan

Mmmmm... I don't use shortcut keys with Graphire2, so that wouldn't be a problem for me...
I have seen some intuos too, but, lol, as you said: I'm too broke for that.... XD *needs to save money a.s.a.p!* ....but I bet if I try an intuos tablet, I'll fall in love with them, and then nobody will be able to save me from having to get one for myself! XD *giggles*
Lol, and I was sooo happy 2 years ago when I just thought graphic tablets were useful only for professional graphic designers....

the sad thing is i have been using an intous 2 in the office, and i'm trapped. i like the fast response, smoothness, sensitiveness as well as the pen grips better with a layer of rubber and it's thick and solid.

ya! i'm using a Graphire 3 4x5. siver color, i would love to get Intous 3 but it was so expensive, the price of one intous is about 4 sets of graphire, but i really have to admit it intous feels a lot and performe better than graphire, i'm using a intous 2 tablet in the office, but for my own i can afford graphire.

Lol well the only tablet Ive ever used is my wacom,...theres silver, well I got the metalic navy blue...but damn how cool is the pen using magnets instead of other tablets which need watch batteries in the stylus.
