This is just a very quick and simple self-potrait i did. Alphaleo aniamtor, Yup! thats me, working as a key animator for a local cartoon series. I have keep on drawing for the whole day, from morning till everning. Kinda cool if u ask me why, it is just simply that i love more compare to jsut working paper work in the office. still have so much to learn. The veteran animator i so much admire will always be 'Glean Keane'(Ariel, Beast, Phocohantas, Tarzan, John Silver) i really love the latest character he animated. 'John Silver' from Treasure Planet. so cool combining 3D and 2D together. wish i have the chance to meet him in person.Related content

Something in this just sparked the plus fav in me. I think it's because i'm a writer, and can see myself doing that later on in my life. So this just makes me think of what I'll be like 20 years down the road, maybe sitting in a comfortable room, typing out on a computer or scrounging through a file to find a note I made about such and such character saying such and such thing...

That is an absolutely great pic! I love the sheer simplicity of it and yet how it has a lot of detail, like the clothing coloring and shading in the hair! It's really awesome that you're able to do what you love and get paid for it! Man, to be an animator is my dream... but I'm afraid I have to take a different path...

yes, we all wish to be as good as glenn is. for those who are not animatiors he is the to panimator in the world right now, gross pay is around $500,000 american. and he is REAL good, would make the 9 old men and walt himself proudgood ol' animators desk, hope one day i'll be a key animator too.

Ah yes, the perfect picture to capture the animator at work! Really looks great, your drawings all seem to have life to them. Must be great though! I'd like to take my hand at it someday, though I don't think I could handle it. As much as you say you have to learn, I have much more, so it's out of my reach at the moment. ^_^; I really admire that you are a real life animator, it's just so cool!

Well, i love glen too, but chris sanders and michal surrey are my favs!... but glen is astonishing (beast will forever rule)
but your image is also fantastic! i love the detail you put into it!.. the timming sheet and all!... but correct me if i'm wrong, aren't the prongs supposed to go on the bottom of the page?... but then again you could have easily just turned that around not to knick your hand.

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmm, actually, the colors are pretty okay, but I think it's pity just to put a whitey background, when you have drawn other details object (in this case, I'm talking about the desk). I think you can put your REAL studio for a background.
Of course, the way you adjust it that it look real with your current drawing is depending on your skill I bet you can do it easily

Anyhoo, this is a totally amazing picture and you say tis just a quick and simple one? The colourin is just incredible, except for maybe the pants which look a bit shiny, but even then the shine is done perfectly!

Heh, makes sense once you think about it. You draw so well, you probably fit in that job like a fish does in water.
