Weight: 1000 to 1800 ibs
Habitat: deciduous forests
Native region: Europe
Evolved from: hartebeest

- based off of the hornheads from after man
- Deer we once very common throughout Europe and Asia, and they even survived passed the age of man. However over several million years, many species of deer is Eurasia went extinct during the Tabeocene and the early Eoxenocene. Around 30 million years in the future during the late Tabeocene, a population of antelopes migrated from Africa and began to colonize Europe. They outcompeted the native deer species and gradually became the new herbivores of Europe.
- In order to adapt to the new forest ecosystem, they've developed a double layered coat that sheds during the summer months, cusp teeth to feed on the tough coarse pine needles and broadleaf plants, and a bony head covering that has fused with the horns. In some species, this bony head covering extends forward which gives the appearance of a beak.
- They're three groups of helmet-horns. Each one has its own set of species. There's Forest helmet-horns, mountain helmet-horns, and tundra helmet-horns.
- The common helmet-horn belongs to the forest group. They look and behave a lot like mooses. Basically being a large, solitary, browsing herbivore. They're known to spend their time browsing, swimming in lakes and ponds, and guarding their territories. Both genders possess horns but males sport the larger pair.
- Predators include wrats, thunder rats, and devil bears. They usually run away or fight back with their huge horns or chunky hooves.
