Quotes #19 | “Killing people may be illegal, but then again, so is the music on your iPod”After a couple "off" weeks I'm back with a new Quotes. I got an order from a friend for more then a hundred new stickers with funny quotes on it. I changed the background, font and size from previous design. Since I got many complains how "this sh*t doesn't belong here on DA" I probably won't upload all of them, but I will post a link where you can see them...

About the quotes:
1.) I don't own any of the quotes in my collection (unless it's stated otherwise);
2.) Credit is given if the ORIGINAL author of the quote is known;
3.) Even if they are racist, sexist, etc. there is no offense intended; They are made strictly with entertaining purposes;
4.) I don't own any (copyrights), so you can use them however you want them;
5.) Possibly there are some grammar mistakes and it would be much appreciated, if you notice them, to let me know, so I can fix them asap;

It's not illegal to download copyright music. But it's illegal to make copyright music downloadable without paying the copyright owners. Though I think it's illegal to download in Japan now.

in Denmark as an example it is illegal to download pirated music, its not everywhere people "made it okay", if you can say that

I stopped doing that for american music and kpop because I can get all that on itunes. Just for jpop because itunes doesn't have many of them in the US store.

seriously though. please learn typography. please. or put these in your scraps. because putting them in the typography section of the deviantart gallery is only an insult. this means if i take times new roman, put it in the center of the canvas and copy+paste a quote that its art?

I'm confused, your bashing someone about not being artistic when I learn anything can be art and regardless how talentless I am I never stopped because people have told me too and how this guy is not contributing rightfully to this site when your page has 0 submissions and horrid animated gifs by other people. yes, my page does have 0 submissions. do i have to be an artist to be a critic? no. as quoted from another deviant whose name escapes me, you dont have to be a chef to know food tastes terrible
(although, i do submit my art to tumblr and furaffinity on occasion)
and.. no, not everything is art. while many people argue that, would you consider a toilet a piece of art? its a creation from someone. but its not art. (however, its very.. subjective considering some toilets may be considered art if thought from out of the box) this argument can go on forever but no, i do not consider this art. its also borderline plagiarism considering he doesnt cite his source where he gets the quotes from. keep in mind these are not his quotes! if they were, i wouldn't be so complainy about it. but alas, he takes them off of bumper stickers apparently.
and ok my page does have "horrid" animated gifs by other people. i will admit that! but do you see me actually submitting it into my gallery? im not asking for comments on the gif, favs for the gif, i am simply having it on my page to decorate it.

See now the one part not giving credit where do is something I'll agree on too. But the guy still took time to make it, much like all the brony art, anime screen caps traced over, and photographs developed at a negative filter drive from a CELL PHONE make me crazy sometimes too, but I just can't come to say its not art when art can be anything. Including toilet paper. Their are some people out there that do that @_@. lol. Actually I think it was a cover of a Bjork album.
But the way a lot of criticism is given to people on DA isn't really criticism like my High school art teacher once showed me the difference between constructive criticism: offering valid and well responded options about others work involving positive and negative comments. And just plan DA comments of: "Your mom's a slut." XD
More less we could probably just learn from each other the different parts of one picture instead of starting a trolling war of whose right and whose wrong.

Actually this isn't cluttering the front page because there's only one up there right now and by the definition of clutter that is not cluttering it. Also the words them selves are art not the way he puts them.
