I know there's still a couple days left in August, but I think I'm done with this sketchdump
From left to right, top to bottom:
-Fane and dat hair
-Owen Jaeger (Erik's dad)
-CherlnIDA 's Fern dressed as Alice in Madness Returns
-I wanted to draw something related to "Echoes in the Night," so have an anxious Amber
I tried a sort of different way of doing line art and shading so... it was a fun experiment that I might use later

-JasperQuill 's Poppy (Wanted to put her in a cute dress instead of her normal servant's clothes ^^)

Special Bust CommissionsHey guys!
I've been thinking about this for a while, and a couple people suggested to go ahead and go through with it, so I think I'm going to give it a try.
I'm going to open a bust type of commission. They'll look like this:
And they'll only be $5! (through paypal)
The reason why I waited so long was because I struggled with determining a price. But they're pretty easy and quick to make, and I'm going to use this frame for all of them, so it will save time by not having to draw an intricate frame for every single piece.
I will also be using this simple shading and colored line art technique. I just think it looks nice.
I just wanted to open a commission type that's quick and easy to make while still looking nice and not too sloppy and lazy lol. You will get to chose all the details for your character such as jewelry and clothing. For male characters that don't wear jewelry, I might make extra detailing or patterns on the clothes to make it not lo

Thanks again for drawing Poppy. It was super sweet of you and it really brightened up my day! She's so cute; I can't even remember the last time I had an opportunity to draw her (gotta find her refs in my folders somewhere so I can get to work on her redesign), let alone her actually smiling and not being her over-dramatic self!
My personal favorites in this sketch-dump have to be Fane dealing with his bedhead (I love little touches of detail like this in art and stories), and Marin carrying Damien (it's interesting seeing those two in more modern clothing). The poses and expressions are really well done in those two sketches especially, and they show a bit of improvement (i.e. Fane's slightly more muscular anatomy). It may have been the drop in quality on the initial stream tests, but the first time I saw Marin here, I accidentally mistook him for Fane. Kinda reminded me of "An Errand in Town".
