Simple vector piece. Went through a bunch of colour schemes and variations of the design before I was left with this one.Getting really sick of my computer's inability to display colour correctly, had to make some serious colour compromises to ensure they were all web safe.
It's like, I know it's selfish to expect the thing to do what I bought it for, but hey, I'm a selfish person. Most people would think it pathetic of me to demand that the colours the computer shows me must be what they will actually look like for everyone else, not just whatever the hell it feels like, but I couldn't give a fuck really. I'm just a bastard.

You could have a good screen with a good gamut, well calibrated, yet you would not be able to be sure that other peoples would see the same colors as you. You're not selfish, just an utopist.
Your piece looks good ; i like the color scheme, and the geometry. What is it made for (or thought to be made for) ?

Um, I dunno really. I design for fun really. To make something eye-catching at the end. I was sort of thinking it'd make a good poster maybe. I'd need to scale it up but it's all vector so it's hardly a concern.

hehe ! But I guess that the same for everyone. Making something that looks good and/oe is fun, is already a good answer for me.
I asked you that, because I thought it would look great as icon or logo sized vector, or printed on a business card like format.
But it would certainly do a nice poster too

Oh ok fair enough. You don't think it's too convoluted to be a logo? Thats the main issue it can see with it acting as such, the design is a bit too fiddly in parts.

It looks too much complex for a logo (but who knows, maybe it would do a nice job once printed). I was thinking about scale, thought it would work really good on small size, either print or web
