i get what you mean, i know that colours start to bug me in my work. and i usually make a few different versions
maybe you could try it with just 3 different colours?

Like, starting all over again. Haha I hate everything I have ever made. I dunno, I needs to be more impressive, I'll see what I can do with it cause i actually do like the idea. Just gotta work out a better way to go about it.
Maybe the issue isn't with the colours maybe it's with the size of the blocks. Or maybe instead of random colour choice per block I should coordinate them. But keep the same colours. I dunno we'll see what happens but I know the next version will be much better, I can already see it in my head.

I think the black triangles are the perfect balance to bring the pic out of what could have been a very child oriented image. Now it seems almost dire. Like innocence lost. At the end of all that cheery, lightness we have a stark black finality.
Whatever that means, just my take on it.

I felt the same way and that's pretty much exactly what the black is for. I felt right at the end that the colours were too bright, and it needed something to offset it. The black and the difference in shape is almost unsettling if you ask me. Glad you got what I was going for.
