Ok, this be my last big piece for the year i think, maybe a few more smaller ones following this but nothing on this scale because it's taken a lot out of me. Anyway, i wanted to experiment with a different terrain, and whilst trying out a mars-ish kinda feel i managed to get this. The sky and clouds turned out lovely for some reason... then it came to space.Now most people notice that a lot of my space nebulas are... crap
well with photoshop6 i miss textured brushes and a whole lotta layer styles that could potentially help. But anyway, i've been working on the top left nebula for 10hours on it's own, it's been a bitch to get looking intricate and nice... it's kinda firey, but yknow, i'm TRYING. Especially difficult to get looking nice without a tablet (i have a tablet now 
or will have tomorrow 
) - so hopefully my detailing should improve. Anyway i found out how to bypass the lack of textured brushes for nebulas and i've applied some texture onto the nebula. Other than that, i hope you enjoy, more of a golden theme this time.

This is really good. I have never managed to figure out how you blend from a Terragen scene to space so nicely. There is only one thing i dont like about it, and its the stars in the nebula seem to be kinda large lol. Maybe cut down just a little on the big and add a little small ones. Otherwise it is very nice work. The color is really good i think. Good job as always. I really enjoy your work.

thats amazing... I love the gas in space... I need to learn how to do that better.
However i dont like ur shooting stars, they are nice but i dont know they are all moving in different directions and i think it would look a lot better if they were parallel!

do u think people only fav this cus its a daily dev? i dunno. however. people on D.A have lost the point. they leave lil mesages like 'great love it' witout even appreciating the art. They just comment and fav to follow the every one else.! That sucks. However this is a great piece of art! very nicly done and colored! i can see u have put alot of time and effort into this, and has come out quite spectacular. When i look at a piece of art like this it reminde me how sucnificant the earth actually is and makes me this of all the wonders witch are out there. i love this. all ur time and effort has paid of. u should be very proud

This is excellent work. I think I'm going to try to learn how to use Terregen effectively soon.. however it would take me somewhere close to 3 YEARS to render a 12000x18000 on my computer
I like how the nebulas look so violent though, adds a touch of style to it. Keep it up!

That is amazing. The sheer depth and detail you've given this piece is beyond anything I've seen in a long time. The colors are fantastic, and the transition from sky to water to land is great. I love it!
I have to admit, though, that I am more thoroughly impressed with your sky (the nebula is lovely) than the land and water -- I've probably looked at too much terragen lately, but it is beautiful nonetheless.

Beautiful, realy. But the sky is better than the ground (looks to much like terragen, to less like real world) Maybe you need more photoshop on the ground level
