My third collab (although second one-to-one collab) with Mr Atmosphere himself, .This one was a whole lot of fun. It began with me sending him a terrain and worldfile I made previously and asking for his alterations. He came back with a completely different, but completely workable terrain, and a juiced up atmosphere and surface map for me to play with. From then, it was just photoshop and revision procrastination on my behalf.
WCW - no, not "world championship wrestling". It stands for "We Create Worlds", a project launched by *hypnotic for a series of collaborations between himself and other artists. Some of the results already are staggering, and the prospects for the future are promising too. MORE INFORMATION HERE .
*hypnotic will be uploading a different version of this piece into his gallery tomorrow. It's a much warmer version that puts elements of this scene is a different light, so if you enjoy this, I MUST insist that you go to his page, devwatch him, and wait for it. It's all good in the long run. Both versions will be available as prints. SO GO DEVWATCH HIM!!

With regards to the castle, on which many people have left comment regarding the lighting, I'm wholly aware of that, and it's intentional. No, I'm not covering for logical "errors", but this was taking advantage of artistic license to highlight a specific region of the image to stand out more. It's an ethereal glow more than anything, very much a fantasy aspect. Just keen to point that out

I really like the space work, but 99/100 times the terragen doesn't look real to me and ruins it. I'm not saying terragen is easy or cheap (I read your thing in favor of it), but I have to say that it really ruins your work for me.
I don't know how you'll take it, but your space work is amazing and maybe it's just me but the terragen at the bottom doesn't look realistic at all.

Haha, thanks for not killing me after I said that. The lighting was kind of wierd on it, but the surrounding terrain looked beautiful.

I love this, especially the waterfall is all lit up and neet looking. Also the sun, atleast the main one looks like it should be lighting up more then I stare at the picture a lot but it still looks right. Very nice.

Wow, I love the way the landscape seems to glow... especially the castle and the bridge.
I like the nebulae in the sky too; they are almost tears in space.

aw, I simply love the attention you pay to the details of an image...it's a joy to look at all those small asteroids, sparkles, stars and celestial bodies
I find the colours quite unusual, yet good, makes this nebulae kind of thing stand out more
hehe, I was just about to say something about the castles lighting when I read your edit 
on the terrain below the castle are some patterns, maybe from a brush when painting the terrain... nothing to worry about, just noticed it ^^ the thing worrying me a bit more is that I see soft blended textures all over the terrain, which always makes it look less convincing.. but overall, great image though, I love the softness.

always love the way you guys can tie in a terragen render to such awesome work ... makes it seem more "realistic" in a sense.
love the castle and the bridge across as well..
only thing i'm gonna be picky about is the lighting on the castle...
there should be less light on the side we see i think and more of a shadow from it on the ground below maybe?

Hmm... having viewed both versions, I've no other option but to say that the alyn version suits me better. The hypnotic version is good but it seem too "single-colored" for my taste. The alyn version seem to have better contrasting colors that would bring in a more fantasy feel to it instead of a sunset-like feel found in the hypnotic version.
I wish I could have said more to describe it but I'm not very good at it. hypnotic's version appear to display more detail to the space portion but I'm thinking that this is a natural result of the red end of the light spectrum being more "brighter." Anyway, it's a great piece and I like how it turns out. And lastly, I'm biased towards blue as it is more in tuned to my favorite color.

The whole composition is amazing and I have to say that I like the angle of the deviation..
Meaning..Its like I am looking it from above but then again, not ._.
Which is so weird..and amazing..I have no idea how this works..
Anyway..
The size .. You KNOW I love the fact that your deviations are HUGE and I can see every little single thing in them..
Amazing work with the water...looks like its glowing..or like its on fire..SO beautiful..
The castle and the bridge are remarkable..and eventhough they are small I can actually see details in them..

celestial art is an art going in the decline... but there are few who ups the ante every now and then. You are one of those artists who possess great vision, and so is Hypnotic. The effort and time poured to mold such works must be high, but I guess that is the price of such soul-selling works of art.
95/100 A great score, I would say. Both of you are well respected for a reason, and I suppose the ability to pull off such works is one of them.
Where did the 5 points go? Some part of me felt it is starting to get tiresome with all this 'slight variation' terraspace works...
