Story:

And So It Begins...    The news and speeches made by the Covenant's enemies was channeled across all frequencies which ensured that all and even those in the empire knew of this grave insult and what it has wrought. On this day just a few days after the Battle of Reach had concluded the Citadel Council, hated enemy of the Covenant since the War of Two Councils, has stepped out of the sidelines and into their conflict with humanity which had driven their three remaining fleets from the human fortress world of Reach. Not only they had robbed them of their long awaited victory, but the now the Spartans who were within their grasp of being removed from the war permanently were now out of their hands. This was a lost opportunity thanks to not only the massive fleet of ships the Citadel sent to Reach, but because the Geth attack on the Citadel itself took place and ended in great failure which allowed the humans to gain a council seat and thus bring the war between the humans and the Covenant be

OC Poster:

This is a depiction of arbiter690 's story/submission for my Citadel Vs Covenant Event where arbiter690 's OC Oro storms a Turian Superdreadnought, supplementing his usual Covenant forces with Terminus System gangs and mercs who either owed him favour or were loyal to him for one reason or another (I'm guessing Oro get's around, but not in the giggity way). I enjoyed seeing this story develop as arbiter690 messaged me numerous ideas and ways to hash out his story, originally he wanted Oro to rally all the Terminus System Gangs against the Citadel (he's obviously an ugly hinge-head and not a skull-faced cuttlebone, but hey, either is better than a big stupid jelly-fish amiiright?   ) I did rebut that because I just thought it'd give the Covenant too much of an edge and I had already established that the Terminus System gangs aren't really friendly to any of the galactic super-powers, that's really the only type of thing I have to step in for when other people are writing stories, can't do anything that'll make too much of an impact but compromises can be made. Besides, Terminus Systems are not fans of laws or religion they just wanna make cash, however there was no reason Oro couldn't use a fraction of those forces to supplement his own armies, I mean that wouldn't tip the scales too much, and it's good character development, helps establish Oro as different from other Elites, besides y'know... his Biotics. We see now his politics are different and he's willing to work with other species outside the Covenant more so than others within it, we imagined that the Hierarchs wouldn't be too pleased about his actions (fighting alongside other heretics, and Oro's ingenuity in acquiring these allies by himself would be somewhat alarming) but war is an excuse for a lot of atrocities, so why not let the Zealot fight alongside the filthy godless heretics? Especially if it gets your side a Superdreadnought.

Amalgamation Contest Update #3What is this? In case you don't know it's a contest where I host an event based in our universe. The event is called "The Covenant vs the Citadel"
All of the information around it can be found in the massively long description of these three deviations

I'm also going to tweak the contest a little bit, add in more rewards and increase the time of the event.
The goal: to create a fanart/poster (accompanied by 250 word minimum short story) depicting a battle based on this theme, composed of Citadel and Covenant forces fighting (may include Quarian and Krogan as apart of Citadel army, or even humans/UEGA, but only as supplements to the main three main Citadel races, refer to Galaxy Map description)
Or: Write a 2K word minimum chapter depicting the same thing

What kind of ideas? Y'know anyone can contribute stories to Amalgamation as long as they don't conflict with the timeline, canon or upcoming stories.

For climatic moment in a crossover, don't worry,it won't involve timeline conflict.

There's a competition going on for a story event at the moment also if you're interested

and people don't have to write stories for competitions it's just a way to encourage it.

Pfff, when in doubt. Always use your nearby ally as a personal meatshield. Like the Vorcha, because we all know that Vorcha lives don't matter to us. >XD God I am such an asshole heheheh.

A sad but real strategy though they can use the Unggoy too but still it's very bloody business.

And now with a Turian Super Dreadnought captured not only the Covenant can study the ship throughly for weaknesses and to see if they can assimilate its strengths as their own, but Oro will recieve better praise from his superiors despite being very different from the others.
