Description A male specimen of the species Vultur gryphus.
These animals show sexual dimorphism and have the largest land bird wingspan in the world, reaching up to 3 metres. They can be up to 1.42m tall and live up to 50 years. These animals usually ingest up to 5 kilograms of meat in a single day.
Their white neck feathers are extremely fluffy and soft. I know from experience.
