I guess that saying "You learn something new everyday" is true. It's terrible that they are letting tigers die to make wine for money.

The Tigers has pretty big hunting territories, it can go about 200 kilometer area. It's a pretty big territory, only 2 or 3 can live on it. If they really wanna save them they should stop cutting and burning out their Taiga. The reason is, the game disappears, because there is no Taiga. No Taiga manes no food, no food means less game, less game means no food for the tiger. AND so the tigers is drawn near to human settlements to eat dogs or what ever freely running around there do to the fact there is no food, and you know people shoot them because they are afraid to be near them. After that they just berried it, not mentioning or talking about it, ever.
I love tigers, but to save them people really need to stop cutting out taiga. If you ever go to visit those places you'll know what I'm taking about. There are literally no place for the tiger to live.

Taiga is russian for forrest?
Tiger's do need a lot of land to live off of, even for a single tiger. As you said, the more we tear them down, the worse it gets not only for the tiger but the other inhabitants as well. It effects more than just the animals that live in that area, it effects all of them in the surrounding area.

Good question, how do you stop cutting down those trees. Oh better yet how do you stop those Japanese paying 1000 dollars for one cubic meter of ash tree. People who cut them is get paid 500 dollars a month, and people who sells is get paid millions. AND thats not IT. There is Oak tree, Lime tree, and Cedar. Those are essential trees for the animals to survive in out woods, and Japanese is offering near 1000 dollars for a cubic meter, and where do Japanese sells their final products? Across America and Europe, and so whose fault is that that the Tiger is dieing?

It's everyone involved. The point is to make people aware of this situation and to share it with other people/organizations and to stop buying from the people selling it. Once no one buys it, they won't have a need for them anymore and "should" stop cutting the trees down. We live in an advanced world, we don't need to use wood anymore. The only reason we do is because it's texture and it's solid.

Well basic products that made from fir tree which everyone buys doesn't do much harm. Everyone can afford it, and buying stuff that made from metal or plastic does lot of damage to ecology. For some reason nobody uses aspen or birch which does no damage to ecology, it only take 20-30 years to grow one. But there are people who prefer their furniture expensive, and they don't care about it. Who can afford a thousand dollar table? A celebrity maybe.

Yes it is. And sadly, the tiger in the image did pass away.
