For Cocopet2 .Ok, this guy was a challenge, but was looking for something hard and he was the craziest one you had, lol! I like his "Plum Pudding" face. I didn't go as dark as his upload, only because I don't have the right colored pencils to do it where it would look right. I actually love this guy! Used Red Tailed Hawk for reference. Hope you like it?

I was wondering, has anyone attempted to draw him for you yet? He is kind of intimidating to look at to draw, at first glance. Kind of why I picked him, because I wanted to challenge myself and go a bit out of my comfort zone a little.

Uh I think there is one other person that has drawn him for me but it was a digital peice. Those glows would be much easier with glow brush 
Other than that tho it's just been me drawing him over and over.

You're right. As I said before, Nokt is not for the faint of heart, lol! It would of probably been easier done digitally. At least making them more glowy and getting the colors spot on. I really need to practice there for sure. But I can do things traditionally way faster at this rate and feel more confident doing it this way right now. I'll have more time after the holidays to play with my Sai program. But all in all, like you said, "It worked out well,".

Maybe messing with digital for only a few months actually. I have stuff in the folder, but none of it finished and need to do that too. I'm just so slow with it because it's a bit different technique then what I know.
This weekend been trying to finish up dragon sculptures, so sort of switching around things. I may do my secret santa gift in digital for that person? But will have a back up traditional piece just incase. LOL!

Yeah, but every time I look at it I laugh. LOL! I don't know if it's because of the colors or the way it's eye is or what? Just makes me smile. I really do like this guy.

Yeah, this one was a bit crazy there, partly on purpose, lol. But kind of looking for the hard ones, just to prove I can draw them. The Nokt, (glowy spots) is not for the faint of heart though.
