heh.. the title reminds me of pads.

I don't normally paint male figures, so this was fun for me. I admit I didn't spend as much time on it as I would with original compositions of my own, but I like how it turned out anyway.
If you choose to offer comments/critique, please keep in mind I just did the colouring, and the original sketch is done by someone else. Credit for compostion, proportions/anatomy, facial expression to where it's due.

To tell you the truth I cannot believe that these are the only comments that you have received on this picture the coloring is amazing. I love how you took an anime/manga style picture and gave it such realism (what my mother withes, she hates it when I attempt to draw with an anime/manga flare XP). Like I said the coloring is truly wonderful you blend the colors together so very well (Soft brush 0% hardness got it ^_^). The only thing that I see is in the face. The way you shaded it you gave him very little cheek bones and you made his upper lip look almost ape-ish (pardon the monkey reference its the only thing that I can think to compare it with other than Michael Jackson 
P.S. - still love it especially the wings they are fantabulous ^^ now I'm off to check out the rest of your gallery.

the colouring is gorgeous - i don't know how you do your shading so seamlessly...

use the softest brush (the fluffy one) and set it to 0% hardness. Preset the top of your stylus button as the colour picker tool and set the colour picker to 5x5 pixel average. To blend different areas together, just colour pick at the seams and paint over them with the averaged colour.

Hot dog! You're getting really good at coloring! I really dig the tones and how they transition with each other! Placement of lighting and emphasis of body parts.
I long ago realised I hardly ever do men. Being that there are male characters in my storyboard, they don't always look tip top like the girls... but the girls are sooooo much more fun to draw!!
