Billy Boyd, of Lord of the Rings fame. Contrary to popular opinion, I think he (not Sean A) deserves the Oscar, because lil' Peregrin Took was simply the best part of Return of the King. What an actor, what a voice, what a person.Watercolour on d'Arches paper, 31x41cm (though the sides got cut off in the process of scanning).
And yes, I still havent managed to figure out how to get rid of the line where I pasted the two pieces together.

Definitely an instant favorite. It's positively amazing how much control you have over a medium which, (although I know several people have already mentioned it) I can say from experience, is incredibly difficult to control.
I love the grayscale with touches of color, as well. (That's one color scheme I've always had a weakness for, but still....) <3

The face and Billy is wonderful, but my only critique is about the background. It looks as if the sheets are crawling on him or something.
Otherwise, it's wonderful. There's not enough Billy fan art, just the Elijah and his eyes...

the only unfortunate thing is though, that none of the cast would get an oscar for performance b/c of the whole "ensemble cast" deal. however, i agree wholeheartedly. w/o pippin the whole movie collapses- and not only storywise!
