Description The dental situation of rotary-engined aircraft of the Carsverse is... somewhat involved. Because of all the room taken up by their engines, the jaw structure beneath must be semi-collapsible. Their palates have "ribs" in them, attached to a floating plate that enables the mouth to assume the right shape for speech or intake when the lower jaw drops. When that jaw drops ALL the way, or close to it, a visible gap appears in the vent flaps, as seen here, because the hinge of the jaw is actually pretty far back. In shorter-nosed rotaries, *cough* El Chu *cough*, this can lead to mouth closure and impaction problems requiring surgery and dental work to correct. The bars of a piston aircraft are shorter and sometimes almost nonexistent, again, in the short-nose types. Skipper here has his canines and wolf teeth intact, but in other cases they have had to be removed if they're not growing in right. Now, we'd better take the cold metal things out of Skip's mouth and let him go before he really gets tired of having his mouth messed with.Β

I always wondered how Skipper's organs would fit without somehow modifying that massive engine a semi-collapsible mouth is a great solution!

Wow... I've tried to dive deep into a plane's anatomy before... never got very far but THIS, is amazing.

I have a feeling Blade will be much more irritable. But personally I would have thought aircraft/ship teeth would be more conical

Is you ever do ships, warships have much sharper shark teeth, and the rest have normalish teeth. St. Mary's Challenger is willing to be an example!

You just continue to amaze me. Β Although the original 'Planes' would have had a shorter, more pungent climax if Skipper's .50s had been loaded. Β "I'm glad you changed your last name..."

THOUGHT you'd pick that up. Β Hmmm... I could do a neat little Bolo-esque fan fic about a school shooting and the ooooold war memorial right in front of the building...
