Description LOL. X) My first ever try at a cartoon Ron Weasley. My attempt was for a sort of semi-resigned, snarky, blunt-nosed but impishly freckled sort of best friend who is unamazing except in the case of his loyalty and protectiveness.

For many reasons, Ron is not my favorite character, BUT I DO like him A LOT. I just like Harry and Draco better lol XD ANd I LOVE coloring redheads. YES I exaggerated the flame and carrot reds of his hair, but it is so integral to his personality X) Sort of a WIP coz I neglected the bg and coz the scanner effed up the colors. Again D:

Oh wows too tired to say anything else intelligent, comment and flame (I know you'll all do the latter lol ) at will! JK Rowling owns Ron.

Overall: 10/10 Bellissimo!!

Things that just leap out at me:
His nose is just freaking amazing. Ron is always described as having a "long nose", and you've done it without making him look like a freak (it's had, I know, lol). And it's just really cute! I love the way you've done the end, giving it just the hint of a point
His expression in general. It's kind of unsure/contemplative/worried. You've made him seem thoughtful; sort of at the end of HBP. This is emphasised by the subtle shading below the eyes, and the crease in the eyebrows... well done!!
His hair. Wow. The Weasley's are described as having "flaming red hair", so I think you've gone in no way overboard with this. The depth is amazing. This is not the first time I've thought you should do a tutorial *hint, hint* lol.

You did an amazing job with his hair. It looks absolutely fantastic. And the freckles look brilliant, too.

However, what does give me a bit of pause is the shape of his face. I know that is simply your style for many of the HP characters- your traditional thin, curvy cheekbones and pointed chin- and it really suits many of them, esp characters like Draco and Harry- but it just doesn't suit Ron, I guess, in the same way it wouldn't suit a character like Nevile. I really can't explain it, but I hope you know what I mean. It just doesn't seems to suit his personality. Ron should have more of a slightly rounder face, like how he does in the movies *for example*- I realize that the movies are not canon, the books are, and you have your own style anyway... *trails off* Please don't be upset, I know you are extremely sensitive these days, I was just stating my opinion. I do like the drawing, I really do.

Weyull actually I go by the book descriptions much more than by the movies, because the movies are such loose adaptations in so many ways In the books, Ron is describes as tall and gawky (which means he is very thin and awkward looking) and **THIN-FACED**, as is Harry. Actually when I did the scrap, he had a rounder and blunter face and all the people who are OBSESSED with the canon books jumped down my throat and told me I was being bad. LOL so obviously I can't win with you guys rofl.

Anyway yeah make sure you do a *thorough* search of my gallery, it's not necessarily my "style" to do thin faces, they are just the type of aesthetic I like best and draw, but I have lots of round faced and even chubby people in my gallery Like my fancharacter Margaret Renard, she is very roundfaced And actually so are many of my Draco's, even though they have pointy noses and chins. And LOADS of my original art has people with very diverse faces. X^)

LOL and I am not "extremely sensitive," I am emotionally tired. YOu don't need to tiptoe around me, babe, I am not an emo diva, I promise. .
