firstly, the vision on the piece is stunning. Using the black paper with the white of the pencils gives an all round great effect and the detail of the strokes gives a wonderful 3D impression, its almost like an edited photo which is what I love about the work altogether (also a horse fan). The impact is great and I fell in love with it as soon as I saw it being a *must click* scenario. The teqnique used (as already said) is very good with the strokes all being in the right place to give it that realistic look and It is very original with the using black paper and so on to such a high standard. What is the pencil that you use? Is it a pastel?

For the stronger lights I used pastel and for the details a white color pencil. Keep in mind that pastel will not stick on top of color pencil
