This is extremely well handled, your drafting is excellent and treatment of details lovely. I find the inclusion of the paw a little jarring, the lack of detail makes it appear much closer to the viewer than the head, and it seems unnaturally twisted as though it were a right, rather than a left paw. I see that without the paw the animals neck would have seemed very long, it certainly gives stability to the composition. A bit more detail from some additional reference should fix this. I'm also concerned that some of the background is a bit sharp such as the apparent line between muzzle and right eye. Perhaps these could be lightened and blurred a little, leaving the leaf detail below the nose as the focus of the background?
The line of the mouth is a bit severe too, perhaps some whiskers and hairs falling from the muzzle (using either eraser or white pencil) and some lighter details below the line?
Finally, the lines of the ears seem a tad strong and could perhaps be 'lost' a bit into the background? I'd also like to see some white hairs/whiskers from the ears/eyebrows.
This is a lot of babbling for quite minor criticisms of what is overall an excellent piece.

This is amazing. The detail to the fur makes it appear to me matted, as a wolf's fur would be. The eyes are stunning. I also love how the leg and paw seem to be blurred as if in motion. It looks very realistic. Brava!

Thank you so much for sharing this wonderful art work. As you know I am not an artist and would not attempt to comment on the very obvious technical skills necessary to produce this piece of work. However, as a lover of dogs, and great art, I will attempt to convey the emotions this piece evokes in me. You have captured to perfection, as you always do, the facial expression I have seen on my own greyhound when she is hunting. It's like the dog, (or the wolf in this case), is thinking to themselves "Got you"," found your scent and your mine". That look in the eyes of determination, and sizing up the area, to work out where the prey has gone, with that pulling back of the mouth and the paw up ready to go. It is brilliant the way this has been drawn to make the facial expression, and again, as always, the coat your main focus. I am in total awe of your abilities as an artist and your very obvious ability to so accurately portray these emotions in animals. There really is no need to state the obvious, but I will!, the intricate detailing and the feeling that this wolf could suddenly move on the screen is simply breath-taking.
