In general I prefer 2003 but Brotherhood has my favorite ending.

That's one reason why it is a good ending because of how real it was. It wasn't generic, it had it's own mindset. However after all the hardships still like the alternative ending.
Don't get me wrong 2003 is my favorite and brotherhoodΒ can't touch it for me.

Yeah! I mean, I get that the whole premise of the series is Ed and Al trying to get their bodies back and reuniting at the end of Shamballa (which they did). But to be completely split off from every single character in the actual series all of a sudden is just crazy. Now they're both stuck in our world without alchemy and without Winry, Roy, Riza, Armstrong, etc. who we had gotten to know and love throughout the series! You're right, it doesn't make sense! Like, I know the OVA insinuates that Ed does find Winry'sΒ doppelgΓ€nger because of his great grandchildren looking exactly like him, Al, and Winry but that's not good enough! LOL.Β
