When you think about it, Paulina was very abusive. She liked stringing Danny along, letting him hope and then getting her yucks by slapping him down or dumping him as publicly as possible. Jealousy wasn't the only reason why Sam despised her. She couldn't tolerate the other young woman's cruelty either

Sorry if this is a stupid question, but your drawing, title and description are a little cryptic. What exactly is happening here?
When I first saw this I thought it was some twisted reality where Danny is breaking up with Sam to be with Paulina. Because Danny seems really uncomfortable with whatever it is that he's telling Sam, and your title is "Broken Heart". The only real emotional connection Danny's ever made has been with Sam, and thus the word "Heart" seemed to be relevant only to them. After reading the comments, however, I realize that the story is probably that Danny told Paulina how he felt and she turned him down cruelly, and now he was telling Sam about the experience. I guess I didn't consider this story originally because your art usually focuses so much on the future Danny and Sam will have together. A scene like this seems more like something we would have seen on the original show and that you, Amethyst-Ocean, probably would remember very fondly. Anyway, could you please just clarify what's happening here?
